Sprite

Sprite is hand sculpted and painted, she carries in her hands her protective thorn and lucky stone as she winds her way though the wilds of the wood. She is shaggy with light green spirals and has the most brilliant bright blue glass eyes to catch your attention. She watches calmly yet cautious, and stands steadily and ready on her own two feet.

Bufflo

He's ENORMOUS! This goofy cow pal BuffLo was a really fun character to design, I loved his gangly limbs and dangling bangles. He was like a merry windchime, and I could easily imagine him moving about with his large horns impressing those fortunate to come across his path.

Alouette

Iridescent and glittered paints that never seem to translate in photo, but really seeing the work in person should always be better than you saw online, so I always look forward to that delight for my pieces new owner! This silly bird was thrilling to be able to create, she was loaded with detail I had been holding back due to time constraints previously. I really loved every detail of this piece, she won best in show at a local event in Auburn Hills! I guess they liked her too!

StarGazer

I had these eyes long before I was ready to use them, you know how it is when you "find a thing" and it's gonna be great, and you save it until you've forgotten about it. Well that was me. And then one day the rolled to the front of my "whatzit" drawer in my studio, and he just popped out of the clay like he'd just been waiting for me...

Drago

Drago was a delightful piece, the second in and concept of my "lost boys" elf series, where elves are expressing their inner persona. This piece really was laden with lots of personal angles, and meant a great deal to me, not only in it's detail but also in the underlying story.

Pokè

This is a great example of how things can go when you just let your imagination run free, turtle body? Why not? Fingers and toes? Definitely! Overbite? Yes Please! Should we try that tiny glitter? Fo-Sho! And don't forget wings! Ta-Da!! Pokè

Torque

Torque has wound down, usually industrious, without the aide of others he simply can not function. Rusted, and patinaed by time and neglect he waits patiently for a new friend to come along and get his gears going once more.

Maus

Sweet Maus was a adorable creation that blossomed from the classic "lost boys" characters of Peter Pan, I thought it would be fun if elvish creatures dressed in costume having a slight "identity crisis," and allegiances divided between what they are and what they want to be! Am I elf or mouse?! Why not both.
