I've had this piece in my studio for a bit over a year, just waiting for it to be finished and to figure out what I was going to do with it. Yesterday I put it under rubber, today, on a whim,I poured it in Hydrocal and I couldn't be more excited about the results. Someone suggested to me today that I create work that people can decorate, I think that is a wonderful idea. As a Sculptor I really am mostly interested in working in clay. So what do you think? Would you buy something like this? Would you decorate it? I think it looks lovely without color, this is the first casting so it has some issues, but I'm pretty pleased with the results, and I have to say I am delighted with the material. I haven't worked in anything like this since I was in college.
