Posy wanders about just passing the hour,
trudging the wilds with his umbrella flower.
He offers his shelter to squirrel, bird or toad,
happy to be there, a friend on the road.
They cool off or dry off, and set off on their way,
and Posy still holds his flower aloft to this day.
With a smile on his lips, and warmth in his heart,
He's grateful he's able to do his small part.
